ELEN 726 Microwave Measurements Theory and Techniques
This course comprises of five classroom meetings covering signal flow graphs, error models and corrections, S-parameters,
scalar and vector analyzers, microwave resonators, noise figure, signal generation and characterization,
spectrum analyzers, phase noise and Intermodulation products. Five laboratory meetings one each on measurement of
transistor s-parameters, resonator parameters, amplifier charateristics, oscillator measurements and mixer characteristics.
Every other year.
Prerequisite: ELEN 711 or 713. (3 units)
Location: Lab 310 & 306 Time: Mondays 6:10PM to 9PM
